[Sheflug] IPCop and dial control
Hi everybody
Can anybody help me with IPCop? I want to be able to turn on and off dial on demand
for a modem at certain times of the day i.e. off after 7am and on again
at 6pm Monday to Friday and then have dial on demand on all weekend until 7am
Monday morning. (BT suftime connection)
I have read this how-to http://labs.port5.com/howto/IPCop-howto.html but this only
lets you control the "connect" button on the
IPCop firewall home page.
I can get connections to go up and down at different times using crontab but I
cannot figure how
to start and stop the dial on demand function i.e. once the ppp connection is
dropped at 7am it should be completely disabled until 6pm and then
switched back on again.
I am sure this will mean editing cgi files or passing values to the cgi script via
crontab ?? but how ?? this is where I get completely lost.
I hope somebody can help.
Thanks
James
