[Sheflug] broken symbolic links

I seem to have broken symbolic links in /dev
doing ls -l give the following with cdrom, cdrom0, cdrom2 flashing in red. There is no such directory or file as ../cdroms/cdrom0.

lr-xr-xr-x    1 root     root           16 Feb  9 00:10 cdrom -> ../cdroms/cdrom0

lr-xr-xr-x    1 root     root           13 Feb  8 10:07 cdrom0 -> cdroms/cdrom0

lr-xr-xr-x    1 root     root           13 Feb  8 10:07 cdrom1 -> cdroms/cdrom1

lr-xr-xr-x    1 root     root           13 Feb  8 10:07 cdrom2 -> cdroms/cdrom0

drwxr-xr-x    1 root     root            0 Nov 11 12:01 cdroms/

Any ideas on why or how this has happened and more importanly how do I fix it? Thanks for any help at all on this.

Regards Llewelyn.
