[Sheflug] Linux Quake Problem

Hi,

I seem to have a problem running quake in Linux. I have done everything
I should have (I've had it working before) and I have all the
requirements. But when I try and run either the SDL port the X11 port or
the GL port using "./squake" or whatever I get the following "bash:
./squake: No such file or directory" and when I run it using either "sh
squake" or "bash squake" I get the following "squake: squake: cannot
execute binary file". The executables are chown and chmod (I've even
tried changing the permissions of every file in the quake directory
including the executables to 777 but to no avail). I have also tried
running as root and as user but I'm getting the same errors. This hasn't
happened to me before and I'm totally baffled. Does anyone have any idea
what's happening?

Darrell
