Don't know if I'm on the same track as you Baz. When I was running RH7.0, I
downloaded upgrades from a Rawhide mirror and used gnorpm to install them. I
did at times get many dependancy problems which I got round by listing them
and downloading and installing those first. However, I do recall something on
the lines of a message that cropped up sometimes, saying, this is a beta
version, cannot continue. Don't know if this helps.
On the RH7.2 subject, anyone know how to install or make grip work under a
user? If I run grip from a su terminal as root, often the computer crashes
after 4 tracks, especially if I'm running something else eg kmail. I have
128meg mem, 256 swap, wouldn't thought it was a memory problem.
