[Sheflug] Debconf-tiny

Hi

Don't know if anyone can help with this but thought I'd try anyway.

Using Debian GNU/Linux Potato. I decided to update to the new 2.4.18
kernel and downloaded it and compiled it into my notebook. Works
fine. After a bit more playing around I thought I'd try some of the
more unusual packages just to see what some of them might be about.
Using kpackage I downloaded debconf-tiny and then installed it.
Shortly after I installed it the X-server uninstalled itself and I
now have notebook without KDE or any other desktop showing at all
<smiles a bit><shrug>.

Can anyone tell me how to get the X-server for SVGA and ATI from the
CDs and back into my machine ? Is it something like 'apt-get
xserver' or something like that ? The graphics card is an ATI Rage
Pro LT which works fine on my notebook with Debian Potato and the
XSVGA or ATI server that is on the CD. It was Xfree86 4.0.2 before
it got chopped I think although I suppose that 3.3.6 might well work
as well.

Thanks
