Sorry about the delay in answering everyone (busy at work & home etc)
 In the meantime, I did something similiar to what you said James. I attached 
the hard drive to my desktop, created a 1 meg partion and installed dos 6.2 
boot up files. I altered the config.sys to include a cdrom driver. This 
method saved disk space and I was able to experiment with installing redhat & 
debian. Mandrake insists on a win enviroment. Redhat installation kept 
failing with message to send a bug report. Debian successfull, X running ok 
at 800x600 but only at 8b. sofar. 
	Richard, will you be putting claim to James' floppy drive? If not, how much 
will you be asking James? I have no idea what their value is secondhand.
