[Sheflug] Strange boot problem with SuSE 7.3
I have just configured a basic SuSE 7.3 on a 486 Dx66 with 16Mb of ram,
the idea is that it has two Hdd`s a 1.2Gb boot/system drive and a 6Gb data
drive
to store data backups, which are to be copied on using samba.
I have installed Suse, samba etc but when I add the second Hdd (/hdb1) it is
mounted as /backup
as I want, however when I shut down the machine I see all the hard disc
paritions unmounted but on reboot
/hda3 the root filesystem is fsck`ed. There are also messages from vgscan
saying there are no logical volumes
which is correct I haven`t used LVM, but is this cousing the problem?
Thanks
Rob Keeling
