Fairy nuff - that could well have been a customer; the way I read your original implied it was spam from Blueyonder themselves (ie, some corporate thingy saying "come join us"), thus confusion reigned.
Every ISP suffers a customer that spams at some point in their life... I wouldn't hold a customers actions against an ISP, so I think your lack of sympathy is misplaced in that instance ... though not completely misplaced as they wouldn't have been UDP'd if they'd been quicker acting on abuse cases.
