hi All

Has anyone ever patched grub 0.92 with vga16 support with (nd) to use
ifconfig dhcp and splashimage

Download patch

vd_grub-0.92-vga16.patch

Unpacked grub-92 then change directory grub-0.92

then typed 

patch -p1 <../vd_grub-0.92-vga16.patch

then 

./configure --enable-diskless --enable-3c509

Also

./configure --enable-diskless --enable-3c509 --enable-vga16

Copy files to vfat dos disk to /grub/boot

insatalled grub to (fd0)

But it fails to give splashimage command from grub although (nd) will
work

any ideas on this one
