Re: [Sheflug] TCPA / Palladium FAQ [Ross.Anderson [at] cl.cam.ac.uk]
Imagine that your tax returns have been wrapped in one of these DRM file
formats - Inland Revenue pay a visit demanding to see all records, but your
key has been revoked...
An important document needs to be presented in a court of law, again the key
has been revoked... Or the police knock on your door demanding your key under
some new knee jerk legislation, but our friends in Redmont have once again
revoked it.
A cardiac arrest is in progress and the doctor is saying "We need to look at
your medical records, but the network is down and we can not authenticate our
key..".
Surely I'm not the only one getting paraniod about the implications of this
technology ?
I'm off to write a letter to my local MP voicing my concerns.
Regards, Paul.
