Alternatively, create a new init script specifically for mounting/unmounting 
samba shares, and create a symlink to it in /etc/rc.d/rcX.d/ (where X is 
runlevel) with an S number higher than the network. That way it saves you 
hacking existing scripts.

For example, on my machine (Mandrake 8.2) I could put in it /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/ 
with any number higher than 11 and it would ensure it ran after network 
startup.
