[Sheflug] depency problem
Chris..Yes I wasn't
putting a space in..Cheers.
I managed to now cd,
but then when I type:
rpm -e 'rpm -qa
|egrep ^kde*
I get an error
stating the rpm is not installed. I looked and it
isn't.
So I moved onto the
next step red hat tells us to do:
rpm -Uvh
*rpm
Then it comes up
error failed dependencies...and lists 100's of dependencies. I scrolled
through them and basically there are 10-12 dependencies all beginning with
lib..eg libvorbisfile.so.0, libXft.so.0, libcrypto.so.2 etc What is/are
these dependencies? I'm guessing I need to install something to do with
lib.
I also got a couple
of failed dependencies like:
sane-backends
gimp>=1.2
required
pcre-devel
mozilla
Im_sensors
Xconfigurator
<4.9.42-1 conflicts with hwdata -0.9-1
Could all this be
arrising because I have RedHat 7.0 installed and should upgrade it? I know
that programs like the gimp and mozilla can easily be found and
installed.......but xconfigurator would be a bit more tricky wouldn't it?
I never thought upgrading kde would be so
tricky
