When I was using the 7.1 version I did find some issues with i4L.  I 
solved the problem by upgrading to SuSE 7.2 which has worked fine 
ever since.  Other thing is that some people have found that PCMCIA 
and i4L isn't a happy mix.

Looks like i4L doesn't like you ?  You can get SuSE 7.2 complete with 
manuals for the cost of the postage.  Other than that I'm sure that 
someone else can help you out.
