Okay. Had a bit more of a play with it. I've copied over the
/etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key and ssh_host_rsa_key to the /etc/ssh folder
on the SuSE machine from the Debian box. A look under the /etc/ssh
folder reveals that the SuSE keys are in there but there is no such
thing as dsa_key or rsa_key before I copy them over from the Debian
box but there is now.
After doing..
rsync -avz -e ssh 192.168.1.109:/home/user /home/user
I find that I still have to type in the password when I am asked for
it on the Debian console. What do I need to do to get the Debian box
or the SuSE box to understand what it is that I want both of them to
do ? Looked at the man pages and they didn't make any sense to me.
When I tried what they said I just got lots of error messages.
