If you put the internally facing NIC in the smoothwall box on the BNC network, 
then it will be on the same network as the rest of them. Only the Cable modem 
need be on RJ45

If this is not an option, you can get hubs which have RJ45 connections for 
most machines, and a BNC connector on the back for those legacy devices :)
