Re: [Sheflug] creating audio cd

to rip

cdparanoia -d /dev/cdrom -B 1-12

to rip all tracks from a 12 track cd

to burn

cdrecord -v -audio -dev=0,1,0 a.wav list.wav of.wav tracks.wav to.wav .write.wav to.wav cd.wav

you will have to do cdrecord -scanbus to get the preoper dev number for your cd drive.

Don't bother with the pretty gui's. They're more trouble than they are worth.

Hi,

I want to create an audio CD of some of my favourite tracks, I guess
there are two things that I need to do here

1) Get the tracks off of the CD's they are on now.

2) Write them in an organised fashion to a new CD.

Can this be done on linux? What software can I use, any common problems
I should avoid, any help, suggestions appreciated before I head over to
the howto's

 thanks
