Courier provides all those. Alternatively, QMail and
Courier-IMAP will also work. I use Courier
(courier-mta.org) on a network of 200 or so
mixed W95/98/2k/XP machines and it works fine.
I'm using that server right now.

Subject: [Sheflug] Source RPM`s and SuSE Linux
For some time now I have been trying to install samba on an email
server running on an old version of Suse Linux.
The system is the SuSE email server II, which is based on the SuSE
enterprise linux version 7.
What I need is a rpm of samba 2.2.6, as the email server disro does
not have gcc etc to compile samba from scratch.
Does anyone have either
a) an installed copy of SuSE enterprise server 7 on which they could
compile Samba for me.
or
b) a copy of SuSE enterprise server 7 which I could install, compile
Samba and then delete.
Or can somebody suggest an alternative email system which would
intergrate into a windows domain system,
providing web mail / pop3 & imap?
