[Sheflug] Comparing/merging directories

Hi all,

Don't suppose anyone knows of a little utility that will merge directories, 
checking each file as it goes to see if it exists in one or t'other so it 
doesn't overwrite anything? Should be trivial enough to write one, but I want
to save myself some time :)

I've found at least 4 or 5 copies of my old /home from old machine and from
crashed hard disk ... going through each one manually is going to be hell 
(300MB is the smallest directory). Be nice to recover a couple of gigabytes 
of diskspace.
