Richard,

Well I've finally admitted defeat and order SuSE 8.1. I tried to make it
work under RH, even to the point of adding extra debugging lines in the
kernel, but to no avail. SuSE assure me that they support my card and
Amazon have sale on so I ordered SuSE 8.1 pro. Hopefully that will sort
me out. (SuSE have better website than RH too, if that counts for
anything).
