Re: [Sheflug] ISDN Control

Ian Robertson wrote:> Hello

I see that Sheflug is into ISDN.
I have just installed BT home highway as ADSL is not going to be
available for some time here. BT of course have supplied a windows disk
to get connected and register! I hope to register for their 24/7
package once I have the necessary drivers for Windows and then switch to
using Linux on this full time.
BT told me you can't use 24/7 unless you are on BTOpenworld. Be warned.

If any one is interested I bought the ISDN card from sapphire systems
for a mammoth 11 quidlets. sales [at] sapphiresystems.co.uk

I use Demon internet and they allow me 64k or single channel access access on their "budget" connect. The card works on 2 channels - I am
using an Eicon Diva card. I can make a connection on the 128K service
without difficulty. I am using Red hat 8. How do I switch this down to
64? I used the standard gui config tools to set up current config.
Look forward to hearing from you
