It's a lot easier than it was.  When I first had a go it was head 
banging.  

Previous comments on this list about this subject were about USB 
modems and IP Cop.  Apparently IP Cop likes these modems.  Search our 
archive for IP Cop to find previous help.  Other than that people 
have gone over to ethernet based devices such as Alcatel 510 and SMC 
Barricade.  www.ipcop.org
