That line? Where's the "-- "? 

"-- "'s are good. Then I get get my MUA or a dodgy perl script to rip
sigs off emails. No "-- ", and it starts to get messy.

My mailer can be set to strip sigs in replies - this is a Good Thing.

"---------------------------" is a little overkill :-)

Sigs over 4 lines are a bit much, IMHO.
