How is procmail being triggered? From .forward? Just checking this is
okay :)

What's in the logfile ?

Try removing the blank line ... wondering if that is being a problem now,
though didn't think it would be. How are you running fetchmail/procmail?
As $USER? As root? If you aren't running as root, then your DEFAULT may
still cause problems (potentially).
I don;t know if posting extracts from my .procmailrc would help as its
geared towards delivering safely to MH folders, but if you think it might
just say and I'll post extracts.
You may also want to look at the man page for procmailex - one of the
first few rules it has is how to copy all incoming mail to a safe place
whilst you're playing with the rest of your rules.
