hi all,
it has been a while!

I am going to give linux another shot. could someone recommend a distro for a newbie? I am not interested in using a gui, but I do need to set up a web
server, and a mail server.

on my last attempt at using linux (about a year ago) i used caldera, but i fell out with it cos it took me 8 months to get my modem working, and then it
stopped about a month later so i gave in.
