[Sheflug] Re: Meetings
Hi
Went to see Shrida the other day at ...
http://www.countrybookshop.co.uk
and we had a long and friendly chat in his office over a mug of
coffee. The end result is that we can have a meeting at the book
shop on the 12th of April. Start about 11 a.m. and finish about 4 or
5 p.m. depending on when people get bored or fed up.
We can have our own room with a net connection. You can check your
mail and view web pages whilst you are there. There is also a well
stocked cafe which can do vegetarian or meaty food for not much.
Typically £2.00 to £4.00. So, good day out in Derbyshire as well as
a great venue for a meeting. You can get a bus out there to
Bakewell. That's the 240 from Sheffield Interchange. Phone 01709
515151 for timetable info. If you want to bring a computer along
then maybe a laptop or a PC might be suitable. Remember you can't
put a PC on a bus.
The Hillsborough Hotel on the evening of the 15th of March. This will
go ahead at about 7 p.m. Looks like it's going to be the usual
GNU/Linux laptop and a pint of beer session and some palmtops with
GNU/Linux as well.
I'll make a proper announcement later on with the same info :)

Thanks
Richard
