[Sheflug] Low overhead word processor

SoftMaker are allowing giving away free Beta versions of TextMaker,
which is their cross platform word processing software.

I just had a go to see if it would be better that the usual crop of
commercial Linux word processors, and it's blooming amazing. Starts in a
matter of 1/2 a second on my Duron 1GHz, and it's so full featured it's
scary (including anti-aliasing, a working UK english thesaurus,
spreadsheet functionality in tables).

In addition, installation is a case of untar, run. No installation
necessary.

Anyway, thought I'd mention it in case some of you might need an ultra
low resource word processor and don't mind if you end up with a non-GPL
one.
