I think it's because RedHat are bringing out / have brought out (? dunno,
haven't checked, I know they were planning it..) a database product
based on Postgres that would rival Orrible in the low-end market (at
least to begin with).
It's not like Oracle will stop their software running on RedHat, they just
cannot afford to do that. It's more a political thing, IMO.
