On by OBSD box I have running a client by the name of "ddclient" which is 
available for download on the dyndns site somewhere. It's a perl script, so 
should quite happily run on anything that supports Perl ...

Supports various dynamic DNS services, dyndns being one, and it's 
relatively straight forward to configure :)
