Hi Chris

I use a three port JetDirect Box at home and have a HP LaserJet and a HP
Deskjet printer connected to it.

It all works fine just plug the printers in. Set the jetdirect box to get a
DHCP address and then print out a config page to find out what the address
is. Then telnet onto the box and give it a fixed IP for each port. (this box
can have 3 different IP's one for each port)

Then on SuSE just go into YAST and setup the printers using the IP as the
port. You have to tick the box that lists more connection types and select
direct TCP port printing and then give the IP address as the port to use.

All works fine on my setup. I cannot comment about the Netgear Kit.
