Oh !  Oh dear :)

Yes. The local pub can be a distraction :)

I think we've finally cracked it. Just tried to send several
innocent e-mails to myself and some others which were a forwarded
version of some really nasty Nigerian spam clone. This particular
spam was discussed on the SpamAssassin list a few days ago as being
unstoppable. Mail::Audit spotted it and dropped it into my spam
folder.

Anyone else wants to have a go at this I can send some instructions
in. You don't need to be able to write Perl. Most difficult part is
installing the CPAN modules which isn't hard... check you've got Perl
installed on your machine first....

perl -MCPAN -e shell
cpan> o conf prerequisites_policy ask
    Stops it running away and installing loads of extras.
cpan> install Time::HiRes
cpan> install Net::DNS
cpan> install Mail::Audit
cpan> install Pod::Usage
cpan> quit

Then grab the Spamassassin source from the Spamassassin site and
compile it.

I would also like to get Spamassassin to tag mail for me but can't
work out how to do that. Maybe I'll get that part of it worked out
eventually. Just now the present Mail::Audit configuration means that
I don't have to spend hours moving spam around.

Thanks

Richard
