Backing up video? :eek:

You don't say what standard of video, but you're talking big hardware. If
you're moving video from Mac<->Server, that's going to be harsh. Video
straight from the server will be nigh on impossible.

To give you a rough idea of rate, if you're talking full-screen PAL you're
looking at 5Mbs-1 absolute minimum, probably more like 10. 

To back it up, you'll be interested only in size. DVDs are unlikely to be of
much use. You might want to look at some form of NAS rather than a Linux-
based server.
