[Sheflug] USB hard disks/flash memory devices
There seems to be a plethora of reasonable priced (32MB=£15) USB "flash
drives" for file storage/backup/file transfer or whatever.
They report to be plug and play (appearing as an extra drive letter in
Windows Explorer with no driver install required) with Windows versions post
98se.
Has anyone used one with Linux? I'm severely tempted to get one to transfer
downloads/mail/etc to my home PC but as most of the stuff I'm downloading is
Linux based it would be a shame to have to put it on the Windows PC at home
first before transferring it over the network to my Linux box(es)
