The Third Edition is out now (well, as of August 2002 -- seven years after
edition 2) which covers (from what I can glean from the Web anyhow) RH7
and SuSE 8. Okay, it's out of date a little, but any printed work is going
to be where Linux is concerned.

Either way, because it's a generic book, I think it's still good as things
can be learnt by studying other UNIXes as well - it gives ideas and
pointers to how things could be done if not immediately obvious :) It's a
very very good unbiased introduction that also grows with you.

It also covers a lot of network services that the second edition didn't.
It looks like I may need to buy it - it's almost a complete rewrite.
