Yes.  I'm afraid I know what you mean :)  Facing down large crowds of
Puerto Ricans and Americans and Venezuelans at the same time was never
my strong point when I worked on cruise ships.  That was only the
local natives.  The British tourists were much worse.  They expected
light bulbs to work as well.

I will shortly leave these shores for the New World where many new
treasures [sic O'Reilly marketing speak]   are to be found.  Such as
McDonald's cat and dog burgers and new dental and medical remedies of
the like that none of us could imagine.

Such is the wonder of the world around us.
