A program called mailfilter will delete messages on the server without
downloading them. The filters are manually configurable, so you set up your own rules.
I used to use it with my old email address. I set up some filtering
rules, invoked mailfilter. You then got messages about how many emails
were scanned, how many deleted etc. The messages are configurable as
well. Then you ran your email program to download the messages.
Not sure if you can integrate spamassassin with it
Lot of rules to set up if your spam is very varied but it worked for
me.
/Hope that's a help,
Peter
