If your account at UKLinux has been closed (which some do if you've not
dialed in for a few months) then you're stuffed. Some others (very few
though) don't allow you to collect mail unless your dialled in rather than
conencted via the Internet. Other than that your settings should remain the
same. If the old service has a members area on their website you should try
connecting using your old account details to see if you account is still
valid. They should also have a help page detailing how to set up your email
client software showing all the settings you need to make.
