Yes. Hopefully Rik van Riel will get his way with the 2.6 kernel. He
was the fella who stood up in public and said something about the fact
that it was a bit much to expect people to wait for the 2.4.20 kernel
before things were right.
Been using Alsa for a year or two. So, the news that it is now
trusted and used widely is good for me. Seem to remember that the 2.0
kernels were usable early on.
Look forward to more discussion about the 2.6 kernel in the coming
months. Maybe it'll brighten up the winter a bit :)
