[Sheflug] Web cam motion detection software
I thought I might put one of my less used linux boxes to some use and have
it monitor our front garden/driveway via a web cam. Anyone know of any
motion detection software (freeware preferable) that does this sort of
thing. I heard of a school using it to video some falcons they had nesting
in their clock tower. Every time the birds returned to the nest the chicks
popped up their heads and it recorded mpeg until the motion stopped again.
However this software (for windows) shipped with the web cam and try as I
might it won't work with my webcam.
Any suggestions?
