There is a linux port of rar on www.rarlabs.com. It's command line though. 
I've been working on a project for a few months now called LinRAR which is a 
QT frontend to command line rar. You'll have to install rar from rarlabs 
first. Go to http://linrar.sourceforge.net for more information.
