Hello Sheflug,

Have just been reading through a long list of unread mail on the sheflug
list and noticed this thread about us. I'm aware of the etiquette
surrounding commercial plugs on mailing lists, so no hard-sell, but this
is who we are:

We are in the early stages of setting up to market computer systems (the
hardware) to schools. We will produce our own meta-distribution of
GNU/Linux, which will be set up to suit schools, with choice of
software, menu organization and so on and make this available for free
download and supply it installed on the systems we sell.

We will also write open source educational software to enhance our
overall products, particularly with respect to interactive whiteboard
support and teacher-pupil interaction.

We do indeed have our office in one of the larger houses on Crookesmoor
Road.

best regards,

Seb James
Hypercube Systems Ltd.
