[Sheflug] Mutt and Mail Folders

I'm not a mutt user, so I might not be able to help too much, but
exactly what are you putting into your .muttrc?

By the looks of the Mutt manual 
(http://www.mutt.org/doc/manual/manual-3.html#ss3.10) in particular,
you should be using the 

  mailboxes [!]filename [ filename ... ]

directive with the filename of each mbox to read from.

Are you getting any errors when trying to read the files?
