[Sheflug] SCSI Emulation SuSe 9.0
Hi All.
Using Suse 9.0 I have set-up scsi emulation so that K3B recognises both my DVD
(/dev/sr1) and CDRW (/dev/sro). This is working OK and I can read/write on
the fly.
The problem is that I cannot now mount my DVD drive. When I try I get an
input/output error message.
To get the emulation in the first place I appended the boot loader
configuration > default section > linux with hdd=ide-scsi. As I say this did
the job and applications recognises the drive as /dev/sr1.
Obviously I am missing something to get the drive to mount properly. I did not
have this problem on 8.2 but cant find the help I used to set that up.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
