I use a Chaintech/nVidia GeForce FX5200 128MB with Debian unstable plus
a hacked up kernel driver to work with kernel 2.6.0, but it's not
incredibly stable and hence I run it with the XFree86 'vesa' driver most
of the time.
My suggestion would be to get an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, they're about
GBP70 and work a treat. I was until recently using an ATI Radeon 8500
and it was a great card, unfortunately I bought a particularly bad
non-ATI card and the fan kept on constantly dying.
