Yes :)

Yes. Been running unstable on my desktop with KDE 3.1.4.
Surprisingly the X-server configured in minutes with my Nvidia card
which I wouldn't otherwise make claims for. Even found that Postfix
wanted to run with AmaVis. That was until I hacked the Postfix config
manually and messed it up. All that "Microsoft Latest Update" stuff
just got mailed straight back out.

I think we've all been through a distro change in the past for various
reasons ? Wouldn't like to be an ISP facing up to this one. My own
ISP is run by a Debian developer and is largely Debian based ..
www.zetnet.com. Only place I can get Surftime with ISDN.

Slackware has improved a lot. It was good years ago. Looks even
better now. Mandrake 9.2 is said to be good. Some bug reports came
back from New York but it doesn't sound serious.

I think my only problem is that my Samsung laser printer is no longer
recognised by CUPS. A look at their web site says that they've
removed the GDI printers drivers. Also, the CUPS drivers that came
with the printer won't install for some reason.

Hmmm ... :)
