Good point. I found that after my initial post. I've just got back from
our friendly Linux consultants up Penistone way after having seen their
LTSP test rig in action. We're going to set up something in the office
to test it out. It's really about making sure that the web browser is
happy with what we've been doing with Javascript in IE. I'm not
anticipating any real problems, but we have to be sure.
It looks promising though and has the potential for avoiding spending
shed loads of money on MS licences. What fun!
I've got the RPMs installed on a box in the office, but I have to shift
the DHCP from NT onto the Linux box. It will be a small voyage of
discovery, but I've got some sample dhcp.conf files to work with which
will be a start.
