No it's not - but it can be difficult upgrading the distro remotely
without pulling the machine out of colo whilst you apply the
upgrade/install a new distro. This is why I would suggest changing
distros now - and of course you may wish to use something a little more
tried and tested so as to avoid suffering the teething problems of what
is essentially a new project on a production server.
All just my opinions - you may feel differently. I did like Red Hat, but
I don't feel that Fedora is going to be all plain sailing and I wouldn't
like to put a production server of my own at unnecessary risk.

The original poster actually said that he would be using Windows for
now, but moving across to Linux ASAP. I was merely letting him know that
you can SSH in from Windows before upgrading to Linux :) I am well aware
of SSH in a terminal from Linux as that is where I spend a lot of my
time!
