Not to my knowledge - I upgraded to 9.2 a week or so ago. I use a hacked version of the usb-storage module to get my digital camera talking, which won't work with the stock 9.2 kernel. To use it I have had to revert to the 9.1 kernel using the "old" system from the lilo menu. As I haven't had any probs with the older kernel (2.4.22 I think) that's fine for me.

It's a rather retrograde step, I don't think excluding the kernel source will make Mandrake any new friends. Of course you could always use a vanilla kernel, but lose all the Mandrake patches such as supermount etc.

Paul.
