[Sheflug] Christmas present
Any suggestions for a book for a Christmas present for a Linux Newbie (me)?
I'd like to know where the log files are, where applications are installed,
tools for administering a server etc. Not too bothered about how to use
apache or other big apps as these probably have their own books.
Someone suggested O'Reilly Linux in a Nutshell (2003 edition)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0596004826/qid=1070463805/sr=1-1/re
f=sr_1_3_1/026-4954799-5530818
Is this any good, are there better?
