You could try Flonix

I think there was something mentioned on the list last week about this. It
comes in two flavours, one to boot from CD and one from USB. Its only 50MB
but you can do all this

Not sure how "standard" these apps are but the text seems to suggest they
were chosen because of their functionality and install size not them being
the best application for the job.
