[Sheflug] eepro 100 wierdness

As part of doing someone a good turn on an old pc, I donated them my Realtek lan card & fitted myself an Intel Pro 100 card. Unfortunately, this works fine with Winduhs 98 & XP but not Linux.... I previously found problems with networking when ACPI was enabled on the mobo, but with this disabled I get "lost interrupt" when linux starts jiggling the hdds on startup. Winduhs reports the lan card at IRQ11, but Linux says IRQ17.

Any pointers, good folk? BTW, the eepro100 module doesn't seem to like being passed an irq at startup.

Paul.
